Barbecue, Big Lakes and a Bistro

June 26, 2013
If you ever make your way up through the state of New York and happen to find yourself in Rochester, do yourself the biggest favor in the world and go to Dinosaur BBQ. Seriously. Just do it. Because it will be the best decision of your life and you will never regret it. In fact, you will probably love your life forever. Just take a look at this meal.

It was perfection. And of course, Fandango being the ham he is, had to get his picture taken outside. You'd think he'd never eaten barbecue before or something.

After Dinosaur, we went on a little adventure to the Court Street Dam which was absolutely beautiful.

We realized that Lake Ontario wasn't that far away, and decided to take a trip over there as well. It was a really beautiful drive and we enjoyed seeing one of the country's biggest lakes.

We had a great time! We met our Rochester alums for dinner at Bistro 135 and had so much fun we forgot to take pictures. Conversation ranged from Messiah experiences to current work and school experiences and touched on everything between. The atmosphere at the restaurant was really fun, and we really enjoyed the live jazz. It was a great way to spend our last day on the road and we want to send a big thank you out to the alums that joined us last night!

As we make our way back to Harrisburg through miles of rainy weather, we can't help but feel excited to come home!
